Here you walk through the Amsterdamse Bos. This park is almost 10 square kilometres and attracts about 6 million visitors annually. It was built between 1934 and 1970. It was designed by the architects Van Eesteren and Mulder using ideas from among others Jac. P. Thijsse. The Amsterdamse Bos is largely located in the municipality of Amstelveen, only the area north of the Bosbaan belongs to Amsterdam.
