At the end of the footpath, turn left for 10 meters and then cross Van Heenvlietlaan to the right and go straight on through Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark.
Photo 7: Play ground information in Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark
On your right you will find a sign with information about the play ground that can be found here. First you will see Noah’s ark for children to play in. After the ark you see trees on the right with signs: a white maple and yellow Pavia. Various types of trees can be found in this park. Many trees were planted during the construction of the neighbourhood in the sixties of the last century. So some trees are now more than 50 years old. However, also new trees have been planted. If you want to know what kind of tree you see, you may look up all trees in Amsterdam that belong to the municipality at https://maps.amsterdam.nl/bomen/
