4. Pedestrian tunnel

Go straight ahead. Walk through the pedestrian tunnel (photo 5) and follow route 10.

On the walls of the tunnel you can often see special graffiti. Above your head you can hear Buitenveldertselaan where trams 5 and 25 run from Amsterdam to Amstelveen.

The canal at your left hand transports excess water to the river Amstel.
