8. Go back a bit
Go back from the Botanic Garden along Van der Boechorststraat and walk at the right hand side of the street. Turn right after the first building (see photo 12). This is the Jewish Cultural Centre. The name of the street you are in now is Weldam. At the end turn left.

The Jewish Cultural Centre was built to a design by Gerrit Rietveld. Since 1970 it is hosting a synagogue and different kinds of meetings.
Weldam 10 was the home of Cornelis van Eesteren, the architect who designed Buitenveldert and the Amsterdamse Bos together with his colleague Jacoba Mulder.

- Left to the Ecolint
- Leaving the Ecolint
- Turn right into Van der Boechorststraat
- Playground Goudestein
- Project 'Green in the neighbourhood'
- Cross Van Nijenrodeweg and go to instruction 28
- Jan Heinenbrug
- Straight on until Van der Boechorststraat
- Left into Van der Boechorststraat
- Go right across the bridge
- To the old playground
- Go back to the footpath
