30. Go back to the footpath

Go back to the footpath and then to the right to continue your walk. At the end of the footpath, keep left and then go through the tunnel with graffiti (photo 43). At the small square behind the tunnel (photo 44) continue straight on to the Meeting island (Ontmoetingseiland) where you started.

Along the footpath behind the tunnel you will see at your left a statue of a rider on horseback. This sculpture was made in 1968 from bronze, basalt lava and concrete by Floyd DeWitt.
